Appco Group Animal campaign wins accolades!
Appco Group Support UK field representatives experienced first hand how their work to garner charity donors is making a difference to abandoned and lost pets.
UK Relationship Manager Dominic Lester-George, Appco Group Support said that a recent VIP trip to the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London was both an educational and personally satisfying visit for all involved.
“Our field representatives are really passionate about what they do and today got the opportunity to meet some of the furry friends they are helping”, he added.
The world’s largest donor acquisition agency, Appco Group Support works with various charity partners including Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which has been in operation for 150 years, providing care for homeless pets and helping them with training in an effort to find new homes.
“The opportunity to experience the behind the scenes operations of the home, coupled with the information provided by the staff was incredibly insightful”, said Chris Gibbs, UK field representative of Appco Group Support.
“Working with the trainers to learn, first-hand, how they train the dogs in the home by being paired up with some of the home’s current residents was definitely the highlight of the day for me”, he added.
For Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Senior Direct Marketing Officer Rachel Samuels, it was a pleasure to have the field representatives at the home.
“They showed the enthusiasm and energy that I’m sure they apply to their work every day,” she said. “It’s exciting that we are in a position to show exactly where the money you’re raising goes when you come in for a tour, but to be able to show you part of the groundwork is equally as important.
“...the work, passion and energy that all the Appco fundraisers put into our campaign is amazing. The number of regular givers they have signed up has blown us away and they have far exceeded our expectations”, she concluded.
Appco Group UK stands proud as EAST meets WEST in beautiful London!
The trip proved very educational, not only to learn about the business but to also bond with the other delegates from around the region. Several offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Bristol including the APPCO Group headquarters were part of the week long office visits.
Delegates were inspired by many of the Owners met, who have been in the business for years and have powered through very trying times. The Administration team also learnt valuable lessons and new processes that prove useful in improving their administrative duties.
Although the main focal point of this trip was learning, the team managed to squeeze in some down time which included exploring the historical city of London and checking out the night life. This was especially exciting for many of the delegates who have never been to the UK before, as it was a chance to experience and learn about a new culture.
Overall the trip was a fun, educational experience that has left everyone involved with new knowledge and a new sense of direction and purpose.
Appco Group UK and UK cars await the Fastwax phenomenon
Having achieved an average annual revenue growth of more than 60 per cent over the past three years and having earned revenue of $8.6 million during the previous year, Appco Group Prosales has registered an incredible growth, thus securing for it a place among the fastest-growing companies in Australia. The happy news that it came in the first 50 companies rated by BRW in the Fast 100 list came soon after he company's ranking in BRW's Fast 100 Starter list earlier in 2010. This is what Ty Pedersen, Prosales Chief Operating Officer, had to say...
"We're very proud of the result. We know it wouldn't be possible without our dedicated team, suppliers and customers, so we extend our thanks. We're looking forward to continuing our growth in Australia and internationally next year and further developing our product range."
The Business Review Weekly maintained that the factors which helped the Fast 100 secure a place in their list were self belief, determination and the ability to change. Thanks to the attitude of the staff at Appco Group Porsales who are ever ready to work hard as well as who are open to changes in the market, Prosales was able to make it to the list.
With Prosales making their way to the country, Appco Group UK is all geared up for a long association.
The leading waterless cleaning wax has been launched in UK
Ever since its launch in Australia, the waterless cleaning wax has helped citizens save a lot of water and together almost 100 million litres of water have been saved in the continent thanks to this great product. Also the whopping figure shows the concerted effort that the Australians had put in to save water across the country.
Appco Group Prosales Managing Director Ty Pederson is of the opinion that the product will be as successful in UK as in Australia and viewed the launch as an exciting prospect.
"The product has taken off in Australia because we've really appealed to people who want to save water, and at the same time, take pride in the look of their car. Launching in the UK will be a great opportunity for us to showcase the waterless cleaning wax product to a market that needs it - research has shown that the UK has the highest number of hand car washes per capita across the globe. That’s a massive opportunity for us", said Ty Pedersen, Chief Operating Officer of the company
