Yet another successful partnership!

The last post was about Appco's partnership with Save the Children, both in the US and globally. This post is about another successful tie, between the company and the Mater Foundation in Australia.

The Mater Foundation, a leading client of Appco Group Australia's Sports division, has been doing commendable service and the partnership is also doing great. The Foundation runs the Mater Prize Home Lottery to fund the purchase of life-saving medical equipment and also to support patients and families, financially as well as emotionally. The Foundation also does research to find better ways to diagnose and treat life-threatening diseases.

Appco helps the organisation raise funds by selling lottery tickets. It is to be noted that lucky winners also sign up to become a regular supporter of the lottery.

This partnership is not just fruitful to both parties; it has also helped make a difference to countless lives by supporting health care projects.

A successful partnership is celebrated!

Recently, when Appco Group launched its Save the Children USA Campaign 2012, it marked the celebration of the success of last year's campaign in New York and an extended celebration of a successful global partnership.

Save the Children and Appco have developed over the years a successful global partnership with campaigns running in Spain, Italy, Asia and Australia. We are very proud to be adding to this list with the inclusion of the US”, said Sarah Cauchi, Chief Operating Officer U.S.

Ogo Ekweozor, U.S Country Head, remarked - “Following a successful campaign last year, we were very excited to launch our 2012 campaign with Save the Children from our Manhattan headquarters.” Ms Ekweozor continued, “Save the Children are a magnificent charity doing some great work to bring children out of the cycle of poverty, and it's very empowering to fundraise on their behalf with the knowledge that the job you are doing is making a difference to a child's life”.

Appco Group's Second office in state of New York

The recent location for Appco Group US is White Plains!

After one year of trading, Appco Group US has started their second office in White Plains.

Since its opening in September 2010, Appco Group US has been setting the foundations for a national expansion over a number of the conventional Appco industry sectors.

Appco is elated with the second office; the Country Head US, Will Lyon, said, “It’s great to have a second location in New York as it allows us to cover more territory and help raise funds for our charity partners, WSPA and ChildFund International."

Appco Group helps US think Green!

Appco Group, in the US, strives to make people think green…

Appco Group US and energy efficient experts, Mark Group, have teamed up to bring to the US a wide range of home efficiency products that have already proven to be an outstanding success in the UK and other international markets. On offer would be building assessments and greener solutions to save energy, such as wall and roof insulation.

Chris Rudge, the Country Head for the Appco Group in the US, has this to say about what was achieved during the company’s test run- “The momentum we built was great. It’s all about the benefits the product provides the customer. At a time, of worldwide recession, savings are important, and managing your carbon footprint is key. This and Appco’s Human Commercial TM approach translated to the success of the test.” Plans are now on at Appco for a full sales and marketing campaign in the US.

Appco Group Animal campaign wins accolades!

Appco Group Support UK recently made a visit at the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to witness how their work is serving the animals.

Appco Group Support UK field representatives experienced first hand how their work to garner charity donors is making a difference to abandoned and lost pets.

UK Relationship Manager Dominic Lester-George, Appco Group Support said that a recent VIP trip to the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London was both an educational and personally satisfying visit for all involved.

“Our field representatives are really passionate about what they do and today got the opportunity to meet some of the furry friends they are helping”, he added.

The world’s largest donor acquisition agency, Appco Group Support works with various charity partners including Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which has been in operation for 150 years, providing care for homeless pets and helping them with training in an effort to find new homes.

“The opportunity to experience the behind the scenes operations of the home, coupled with the information provided by the staff was incredibly insightful”, said Chris Gibbs, UK field representative of Appco Group Support.

“Working with the trainers to learn, first-hand, how they train the dogs in the home by being paired up with some of the home’s current residents was definitely the highlight of the day for me”, he added.

For Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Senior Direct Marketing Officer Rachel Samuels, it was a pleasure to have the field representatives at the home.

“They showed the enthusiasm and energy that I’m sure they apply to their work every day,” she said. “It’s exciting that we are in a position to show exactly where the money you’re raising goes when you come in for a tour, but to be able to show you part of the groundwork is equally as important.

“...the work, passion and energy that all the Appco fundraisers put into our campaign is amazing. The number of regular givers they have signed up has blown us away and they have far exceeded our expectations”, she concluded.
