Appco Group UK Energy Convention held

Appco Group UK makes its presence felt in a great manner in the energy sector, just as in any other sector. It was recently that the company held its National Energy Convention 2010 at the Ricoh Stadium, home to Coventry City Football Club.

Appco UK Energy Convention, a one-day event held on November 27, attracted over 400 attendees, all affiliated to the Energy Division of the Appco Group.

Ex-Coventry City striker Dion Dublin, who was one of the special guests, shared with the participants thoughts about his personal journey and the overcoming of obstacles in his career. Appco Group Managing Director Mike Blane made an impressive presence too. The Convention included motivational presentations and the giving of awards to those who made notable achievements in the Energy division. Dion Dublin was only too happy to pose for photographs with the award winners and then at the end of the day with the attendees.

Appco Group India witnesses huge growth across all its divisions

Appco Group India witnesses huge growth across all its divisions, October proving to be a record breaking month with an overall sale of 60,919 pieces and growth of 29.10% in just a month’s span. It was the charity division that led with an exceptional count of 47,768 pieces, showing a phenomenal increase of growth at 29%. Those who did the most commendable work were Sai Prakash, Sukhesh Khanna, Jayalaxmi, and Aman Chhabra.

Appco India's Entertainment Division also proved that it had taken full grasp of its potential, setting a high score of 6107 pieces in a month. Pune and Nagpur excel as regards the Telcom division while the insurance division, the newest addition to the company's list of sectors witnessed phenomenal growth at 64.03% and 1304 pieces sold.

This kind of a success has been proving inspiring for others and thus the company is all set to see a tide of emerging leaders sweeping through the country.

A major thing that contributes to this kind of a success rate is the frequent road trips that the company organises as part of its campaigns. Appco Group Product Owners meeting

Appco Group Product Owners meeting, held recently at the Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf, London, proved to be a great success.

Attended by Marketing Company Owners affiliated with Appco Group, the meet had as its main agenda addressing business challenges and divisional issues. It was an introduction from the Company Chairman Chris Niarchos that flagged off things at the event. He stressed on the need of having discussions and took care to make his speech go like one, letting others ask questions and put forth suggestions. Appco Managing Director Mike Blane was in charge and the event comprised of discussions on New Initiatives, Media Issues, the success of the Nationally Recognised Qualifications Scheme and a Business Development Update.

"The quality initiatives and sales training initiatives established three months ago had a huge effect on the business. Sales, conversion rates and averages all went up by 25% across all divisions. We established a benchmark and the meeting allowed us to elaborate upon it so that it can be followed by the same astounding results in 2011. Appco Group at the Third Sector Excellence Awards

Appco Group made news by staging an impressive presence at the annual Third Sector Excellence Awards, which was held at London recently. Held in the Lancaster Hotel, the event was to recognise contributions made to Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, Governance and Foundations etc.

Appco Group Support was delighted to be part of the event and also sponsored and presented the award for Charity Partnership. Appco Campaign Managers Jen Gould and Michelle Thomas presented the awards to those charities that have enabled the partners to deliver services, reach new groups or reduce costs more effectively.

Appco Group Rest and Relaxation week held

Appco Group Rest and Relaxation week was held recently in Hamilton Island, Australia.

Led by Appco Group Chairman and Founder Chris Niarchos and Vice President Shane Ward, the Rest and Relaxation week was attended by over 300 delegates. Country Head of Greece Howie Seymour, Vice President Asia and Country Head of Malaysia James Greaves and Vice President Tony Fernandez were the special guests.

The Senior Executives, VPs, Product Owners, Organizational Heads, Assistant Owners, Team Managers, Administrators and Support Staff who attended the meet discussed various vital issues like divisional structure, improvement of training techniques, recruitment and retention, travel schedules, the 2011 meeting and event calendar etc and even got inspired by success stories of those working for the Appco Group. An outdoor cocktail party and a group gala dinner added to the grandeur of it all.

Appco Group supports 30th International Fundraising Congress

Appco Group, which has been doing appreciable work in the fundraising sector, supported the 30th International Fundraising Congress (IFC) by being sponsors to the event.

IFC, which was started in 1981, has become the world's leading conference on fundraising. The annual event is known for its learning and networking opportunities and attracts around 900 participants from over 55 countries. The 30th IFC, which was held recently at the NH Leeuwenhorst Hotel in Netherlands, had different sessions including a Masterclass programme and a Core Programme. The four-day Masterclass programme featured talks on fundraising strategy, team leadership and digital communication. Each session was an in-depth learning experience led by one or more of the IFC’s leading speakers. The three day Core programme comprised of shorter workshops and sessions engineered to motivate attendants with their energetic pace and wealth of insights. The sessions included a survival guide for fundraising leaders, talks on finance and working with donors.

Appco Group not only gave financial support to the event, but also represented its international charity partners at the event to discuss the ways charities can benefit from direct marketing.
